Celebrate Culture, Friendship, and Festivals with a Heartwarming Children’s Book Series
A Story Behind the Stories
Some of the most powerful childhood memories aren’t toys or gifts — they’re moments.- Lighting lamps with family.
- Throwing colors with friends.
- Flying kites on rooftops.
- Sharing festive meals.
That vision became the heart of the Celebrate the World with Friends series — where celebrations are experienced through helping hands, shared laughter, and community warmth.
Why I Created This Series
While exploring festival books for young readers, I noticed something missing. Many books explained traditions…
But very few showed children inside them.
I wanted kids to see:
- Children helping prepare celebrations
- Families working together
- Friends learning from each other
- Cultural joy through participation
Meet the Friends
Across the series, children journey through celebrations with:Anya • Toby • Bella • Radha • Milo
Each character brings curiosity, kindness, and their own way of helping — allowing young readers to see themselves reflected in the stories.

Author’s Reflection
While creating this series, my goal was simple:To make sure every child could open a book and feel,
“This celebration includes me.”
Whether it’s flying kites, lighting lamps, sharing sweets, or helping Santa — these are universal childhood moments that connect us across cultures.
Festivals may differ.
But joy, kindness, and belonging are shared everywhere.
